🌎 Arc Community Update: Arc House Chapter Growth, New Regional Roles, Updated Architect Benefits

We’re expanding opportunities for community members to contribute to Arc around the world.
This update includes:
  • New and growing chapters and roles available across priority markets
  • Expanded chapter eligibility based on regional, linguistic, and ecosystem connections
  • Expanded Meetup Organizer and Technical Speaker opportunities for Tier 1 Architects
  • New regional chapter team roles with new profile badges
  • Updated and increased Architect tier benefits and contribution opportunities to come

Chapter Growth and Priority Markets

We’re expanding teams in existing chapters and looking for founding teams in new chapters across the following priority markets:
  • APAC: Korea, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Pakistan
  • MEA: Turkey, UAE, Nigeria, South Africa
  • LATAM: Brazil, Argentina
As the Arc community program continues to progress, our priority markets and role openings will adapt. This represents the initial wave in a series of new chapter launches coming to Arc House.

Expanded Chapter Eligibility

Arc House chapters will now serve as both regional and linguistic community hubs.
You may apply to join a chapter if you have a meaningful connection to the market, such as:
  • Living in the region
  • Speaking the local language
  • Considering it the closest relevant Arc House Chapter to you
  • Doing business in the market
  • Having relationships within its developer or founder ecosystem
  • Having a strong and clear interest in contributing to the local community
Applicants should be prepared to explain their connection to the market and how they hope to contribute to the chapter.

Expanded Opportunities for Tier 1 Architects

Tier 1 Architects may now apply for two additional community roles:
  • Meetup Organizer: For experienced event organizers with strong networks in their local developer and technology ecosystems
  • Technical Speaker: For Architects with deep, demonstrated Arc expertise and strong technical communication skills
Each role has separate eligibility and selection requirements outlined in the  Roles Guide .

New Community Roles

Arc House chapters now include new roles:
  • Chapter Contributor: Supports chapter initiatives based on their skills, interests, and the chapter’s needs
  • Chapter Lead: Helps guide an individual chapter and coordinate its contributors
  • Country Lead: Provides strategy and coordination across chapters and community activity within a country
These are not automatic progression tiers. Each role reflects a different type and scope of contribution, leadership, and previous experience. You do not need to be an Architect at the time of your application.
Profile badges: Chapter Contributors, Chapter Leads, and Country Leads will receive a role-specific badge that appears next to their avatar on their Arc House profile, replacing their Architect tier badge while they hold the role.
Not all roles will be filled across every region, country, or chapter right away, as we are committed to taking the time necessary to select the right candidates.

How to Apply and How Selection Works

To receive priority consideration for the initial round of open roles, submit your application by September 18, 2026. Applications submitted after this date will remain active and be reviewed on a rolling basis as additional chapter and program needs arise.
Applications will be evaluated based on community and program needs, relevant experience, potential contributions, and the perspectives or capabilities each applicant could bring to the team.
Personal relationships or existing connections with Chapter Leads do not guarantee selection. Our goal is to build capable, well-rounded teams that reflect and support their broader communities.
Because the number of available roles is limited, not everyone who applies will be selected, and we understand that may be disappointing. Decisions will be based on what best supports Arc’s needs in each market and should not be viewed as a reflection of anyone’s overall value or contributions to the community thus far.
Selected candidates may be invited to interview. Chapter teams and role selections will be announced publicly on a rolling basis.

Architect Guide Updates

Due to all of the changes above we’ve also updated the Architect  Roles Guide ,  Tiers and Benefits Guide , and  Contribution Opportunities Guide  (new and increased points for contributions!) for complete information about new community roles, eligibility, tier benefits, point-earning opportunities, regional coverage, and applications.
That’s A LOT of exciting news! I’m grateful you’re here and excited about what we’ll build together in this next chapter. There is so much ahead for Arc and this community, including mainnet.
