Recently a few friends asked me about how to contribute on Arc. They said they weren't builders, didn't know how to code, and wanted to know how they could contribute to the Arc ecosystem.

I think most people still don't fully understand what vibecoding actually means. So I wrote this guide for anyone who has never built anything before.

Building a simple dapp on Arc Testnet with Claude in just a few hours is very doable. I'm new to this myself. In this post I'll walk you through my own approach.

First, I bought Claude Pro because the free plan's usage limit fills up quickly.

Paste all of Arc's links into Claude, tell it you have no software or coding knowledge, that you want to build something on Arc Testnet, and ask it to guide you step by step through the entire process.

You can ask Claude for ideas, or if you already have something in mind, describe it in detail. I'd recommend keeping Arc's stablecoin and payment-focused nature in mind when choosing your idea. Something sustainable and extendable will work in your favor. I built a USDC on/off ramp application. You can check it out here: arcgate-app.vercel.app

Claude will walk you through each step and you'll follow along:

You'll create an account on console.circle.com and generate an API key. You'll add Arc Testnet to MetaMask. You'll get test USDC from faucet.circle.com. You'll install VS Code, the Claude VS Code extension, and Node.js.

Take a screenshot at every step and send it to Claude, then keep going. Whenever you get an error, paste the screenshot into Claude. If you send Claude a screenshot of every error you encounter, it will quickly tell you how to fix it. Feel free to ask Claude any question that comes to mind throughout the process.

Once you install the Claude VS Code extension, Claude will tell you exactly what to do and you'll copy and paste it into the extension. The Claude VS Code extension will handle all the necessary changes for you.

I didn't write a single line of code. Claude wrote it, the extension handled the rest.

The first version will likely be very basic. Just tell Claude "make it look better" or attach a screenshot of something you want it to look like. Claude will redesign it. Tell it "add this feature" and it will add it. The whole process really comes down to writing to Claude and expressing what you want. A small copy and paste is all it takes to get things done.

Claude will tell you to push the project to GitHub. It will walk you through exactly what to type in the terminal and you'll run the commands. Your code will be pushed to GitHub.

Then you'll create a Vercel account, connect your GitHub account to Vercel, select the project you pushed, and deploy it. Within a few minutes your app will be live and you'll have a link. Claude will guide you through these steps as well.

The hardest part of starting anything is taking the first step. I've shown you how to take that first step toward building a dapp on Arc Testnet with Claude.

As you've seen, vibecoding requires no technical skills whatsoever. From here, the possibilities are endless and everything is up to you. You can go as far as you want with Claude.
