I have been on Arc house for weeks, seen a lot of AI agents' products shipped by the community, and started thinking to myself, do I really understand this? All I know is that I click a bunch of buttons, and transactions happen. Even though I don’t understand what is going on, I believe I deployed an agent, and it is transacting with other agents. 

 So, I decided to actually study AI agents for myself. Turns out that “an AI agent is just a digital extension of oneself”. That's my definition, anyway. For an agent to function properly as you want it must to a certain level reflect: how you think, how you make decisions, your workflows, your experience, your strategies, your knowledge. And just like yourself, an agent can become better over time by accumulating knowledge. 

With Arc pushing “agentic economy” where AI agents can: discover each other, coordinate tasks, hold wallets, transact using stablecoins, and operate autonomously, it becomes extremely important that your AI actually thinks and behaves like you or like someone who actually knows what they are doing. 

Most AI agents are powered by generic LLM knowledge. Some companies also try to optimize the agent with some extra data, spending billions because they know the best operators in the world are valuable because of: their experience, their pattern recognition, their instincts, their workflows, their mistakes, and the tiny operational decisions they’ve learned over the years.

That intelligence rarely exists online in structured form. This is the reason we built KnowLedger.
