 a fully decentralized freelance escrow platform I built on Arc Network testnet. This is my attempt to solve one of the oldest problems in freelancing: trust.

 Every freelance platform today relies on a centralized intermediary to hold funds and resolve disputes. They take high fees, can freeze your account, and their dispute resolution is completely opaque. ArcPact replaces all of that with 

 ArcPact is a Web3 freelance marketplace where every payment is locked in a smart contract escrow. Funds only move when both parties agree or when an AI powered dispute resolution system steps in. No platform, no middleman, no hidden fees.

Connect your wallet and post a job fill in title, description, category, budget in USDC or EURC, and deadline

Browse incoming applications each provider submits their price and a pitch message

Select your preferred provider triggers an on chain transaction via ERC-8183

Lock your funds  approve token spend and lock the budget into the smart contract escrow. The money is on chain; neither party can touch it unilaterally

Review the deliverable the provider uploads their work to IPFS, hash is recorded on-chain

Approve → funds are instantly released to the provider

Not satisfied? Open a dispute and let Claude AI analyze the case

Connect your wallet and browse open jobs filter by category, budget range, and token type

Submit an application set your price and write a pitch explaining why you're the best fit

If selected, you'll receive a notification and a private chat opens with the client

Accept the job on chain confirm via smart contract transaction

Complete the work and upload your deliverable to IPFS directly from the platform

Submit on chain the client is notified to review

Once approved, payment lands in your wallet instantly

 AI Dispute Resolution What Does It Actually Base Its Decision On?

If the client and provider disagree on the deliverable, either party can open a dispute. Claude AI steps in but not blindly. It bases its verdict on 

 exactly what the client requested, in which category, at what budget

  the tamper proof, on chain recorded proof of submission. "I never delivered" is not a valid claim

 revision requests, approvals, objections between both parties

 each party's written explanation of their position

 when the job was funded, when it was delivered, whether the deadline was missed

  if the deliverable meets the job description

 if work is partially complete (e.g. 70% to provider / 30% refunded)

  if nothing was delivered or the work is completely unrelated to the brief

 not a black box, but a transparent process showing which factors were weighted and why. This is the opposite of how traditional platforms make decisions behind closed doors.

In the current version, the AI verdict is a recommendation and does not directly trigger an on-chain transaction — both parties see the reasoning and resolution is applied manually upon agreement. Fully autonomous on-chain resolution is planned for a future iteration.
