I have been working on a small but scalable idea on Arc: 

ArcIP is a testnet app that lets people register digital content and intellectual property on Arc. It also lets creators define license terms clearly and lets users mint these licenses with USDC.

In simple terms, ArcIP helps a creator define rights for an uploaded asset. For example:

 Creators, developers, designers, AI and data builders, and teams that want to test editable licensing.

 You can register an asset, choose license rights, view a public proof, explore assets in the marketplace, and mint a license with USDC.

Digital content is now used across many platforms, AI systems, marketplaces, and automation flows. But it is often unclear under what terms the content can be used. It is also unclear who registered it, whether the license terms changed later, and how payment is connected to the right to use the content.

ArcIP tries to solve this with a simple and readable interface. On the creator side, there is a panel for registering content and defining license terms. On the user side, there is a marketplace flow for reviewing and minting licenses.

A natural question is: why ArcIP if Story Protocol already exists?

Story offers a broader IP infrastructure. It includes a larger protocol layer with features like IP graphs and remix relationships.

ArcIP is a narrower and more product-focused experiment. It focuses on registering an asset on Arc, choosing basic license rights, connecting them to an onchain proof, and minting the license with USDC.

The goal of ArcIP is to show what is possible in the Arc ecosystem. It also shows how a simple and testable IP licensing flow can work.

A creator uploads an asset to the app, enters metadata such as title and description, and then chooses license rights. These choices create a license profile.

The content hash, license digest, acceptance hash, and creator information are then stored as a registry record in the ArcIP smart contract.

After the record is created, a public proof is created for the asset. A user or possible buyer can open the proof page and review the file name, content hash, license digest, creator address, and active license status.

 Add Arc Testnet to your wallet if needed.

 Add the asset title, description, and file information.

A new ArcIP registry record is created on Arc Testnet, and a public proof page becomes available for the asset.

After that, you can open the asset in the Marketplace, review the license terms, and mint a license with USDC.

The license model in ArcIP currently uses a few basic rights:

The goal is not to fully replace long traditional license texts. The goal is to make the most important license decisions simple and machine-readable.

This way, both human users and future agents or apps can understand these rights more easily.

After an asset is registered, it can be listed in the marketplace. Users can view asset cards, open asset details, check the public proof, and mint the license with USDC if the terms are suitable.

Why This Makes Sense in the Arc Ecosystem

When a user wants to buy a digital license, the experience should be simple: see the license, review the terms, and mint it with USDC.

It becomes harder when the user needs to find a separate gas token, move to another network, or use a broken payment flow for a small transaction.
