Prediction Markets are great, the likes of polymarket, kalshi and similar platforms introduced a new way for users to earn based on speculation.

But the time at which markets and events are settled in these traditional prediction market can range from hours to months.

This does not benefit the degenerate trader, the scalper, the traders who like quick results on their trades, and so we decide to build 15market to satisfy these traders.

Trading packs a lot of risks with little reward especially for illiquid traders who have little capital to fund their strategies, but there are 3 main problems we aim to fix;

the average degens spends his whole day stalking Dexscreener hoping to catch the next runner and after these rigorous analysis he still ends up buying a honeypot causing him to lose time and money with no reward.

the trader who trades leverage models like future and perps have to deal with funding rate, trading fees and charges to keep a position open which again never favours the trader with little liquidity.

these platforms even after the traps built in to massively extract from illiquid traders still perform market manipulation to hunt stop loses of these traders.

And this is where 15market comes in to mitigate these risks and offer a fair, simple platform for users to trade trends.

15market is a platform that offers users the opportunity to make and accumulate profits by just predicting the direction of an asset for a specified duration no more than 15seconds.

Basically the core mechanics is simple, traders select a direction “long” or “short” followed by the the trade duration which is how long that trade will run for to determine the outcome and this ranges from 5 to 15seconds.

The profits are pegged to the trade durations like the 15 seconds trades offer 1.90x, 10 seconds offers 2.40x, 5seconds offers 2.90x (

note: these are subject to change as they’re not final until mainnet

So once you select the trade direction, the duration and the stake you confirm the trade to lock in the trade and begin the countdown.

After the countdown our system compares your entry price (

the price at the moment your trade started

) to determine the result of the trade, if your trade is won your wallet will be credit in seconds.

When we started building our platform looked like this

 was hard to navigate and many things were out of proportion.

Today we have a beautiful UI with an amazing UX to help users make the most of their time in our platform.

Also We had issues with our contract where we made a typo that kept on causing wrong maths calculations leading to users receiving less profits than they should.

Before we allowed users to either trade with our then Auto signer wallet which was linked to the users wallet or their main wallet which required signing txn everytime.

but now we introduced wallet which you can access by clicking on the avatar icon to access your dashboard where you can find your wallet.

The wallet is basically a contract wallet which serves as your 15market portfolio, this wallet is what you use to trade and you can fund it by copying the wallet address of the portfolio wallet and sending USDC from your wallet

or you can simply use our deposit feature to get easily fund the wallet.

Ultimately, we improved the experience both in Frontend, backend and onchain.

Our main focus is researching ways to improve our platform to not only manage our resources like RPC, Gas fee, and the rest but to also deliver peak performance at all times.

: Right now as we work on the core mechanics we are aware of the regular web3 frictions and we plan to mitigate them using Arc, circle and partner tech infrastructures available to us.

: it is without doubt that a mobile app is in order once we solve the friction on the web app, this will signal us to start working on the mobile app.
