Hey Arc community. I'm Abu Olumi, builder and researcher from Nigeria. Over the past few weeks I've been building ArcSense; a real-time intelligence infrastructure layer on Arc Testnet that scans every block, detects failing transactions, classifies contract behavior, and sells that intelligence as a pay-per-query API consumed by developers and autonomous agents.

This post covers everything what it does, how it works, and why I built it this way.

Most blockchain tools show you data. ArcSense transforms raw Arc Testnet activity into actionable intelligence and prices it as a service that anyone, including autonomous agents, can consume.

ArcSense scans every Arc Testnet block in real time using ethers.js v6. For each block it detects failed transactions, identifies which contracts caused them, and tracks failure patterns across blocks, not just within a single block.

Every contract gets a behavioral classification derived purely from on-chain data:

📛 HIGH FREQUENCY FAILER — 10+ failures, 2+ per block

⚠️ REPEAT OFFENDER — appeared in 5+ blocks

🔄 RECURRING PATTERN — 1.5+ failures per block average

🆕 NEW FAILURE — recent activity, 2+ failures

🔍 OCCASIONAL FAILURE — isolated incidents

A two-tier alert system fires WARNING at 10% failure rate and CRITICAL at 15%. Weekly intelligence reports are generated automatically every 7 days.

 ArcSense exposes five gated intelligence endpoints:

  GET  /api/intelligence/network — Network health snapshot

  GET  /api/intelligence/contract/:address — Contract risk score

  GET  /api/intelligence/block/:number — Block analysis

  GET  /api/intelligence/usage — Wallet usage stats

  POST /api/intelligence/confirm/:queryId — Confirm payment

 - Works with any Arc Testnet EVM wallet: MetaMask, Rabby, or programmatically

 - Payment verified on-chain via Blockscout API

 - No Circle account required for external users

 1. Query the API with your wallet address

 3. After free tier, API returns payment instructions with exact destination and queryId

 4. Send 0.1 USDC to the service wallet from any EVM wallet

 5. Call the confirm endpoint with your wallet and transaction ID

 6. One credit added — next query served immediately

The most distinctive component. An on-chain agent runs on a 5-minute scheduler and operates entirely without human input.

 - Fetches live Arc network health directly from the engine

 - Runs a decision engine against configurable thresholds

 - If conditions are met, sends 0.1 USDC from its own Circle Developer Wallet to the ArcSense service wallet

 - Receives paid intelligence — contract risk scores or block analysis

 - Logs the full decision with a clickable Arc Explorer transaction link

The agent has been spending real USDC (test) autonomously since launch. Every payment is verifiable on Arc Explorer directly from the dashboard.

  GET  /agent/status — Current state and lifetime stats

  GET  /agent/log — Full decision log with tx links

The dashboard has a landing page that pulls live stats from the engine, blocks scanned, alerts triggered, agent cycles, USDC spent; all real, all live.

 - Block Feed: scrolling live stream with failure indicators

 - Failure Rate Chart - last 30 blocks with rolling average and severity zones

 - Contract Intelligence - ranked failing contracts with behavioral classification and Arc Explorer links. Click any contract to scope the entire dashboard to it; feed, chart, and stats all filter to that contract's history

 - Agent Intelligence Panel - live agent status, decision log with clickable Arc Explorer tx links, manual trigger, USDC spent

 - API Access Modal - full production endpoint URLs, service wallet address, payment instructions — accessible from the topbar

 The payment layer runs entirely on Circle Developer Wallets:

  Agent wallet — holds USDC, sends 0.1 USDC per intelligence purchase autonomously

  Service wallet — receives payments from the agent and external developers

  External payments — verified via Blockscout API, no Circle account needed for external users

All transfers use Arc Testnet's native USDC with feeLevel: MEDIUM.
