Regional Leadership & Recognition

Arc supports regional communities through two distinct pathways:
Regional Chapter Local Leads (recognition designation)
Regional Leads (tier 4+, formal leadership roles)

Regional Chapter Local Lead

Regional Chapter Local Leads are Architects recognized by the Arc team for consistently going above and beyond to support and grow the Arc community within their region (via X, Arc House, TG, X spaces, and beyond) and/or they are an approved meetup organizer in their region.
This designation is intended to recognize and amplify trusted voices within a region.
Regional Chapter Local Lead is not a formal Arc role with a tier requirment and does not include a badge.
Some ways a local lead can help:
  • Welcoming new members and encouraging introductions
  • Starting thoughtful regional discussions
  • Sharing local fintech/stablecoin developments
  • Helping contextualize Circle/Arc updates for regional audiences
  • Answering questions or connecting members with resources
  • Helping identify strong local builders/operators
  • Surfacing regional opportunities, events, or ecosystem activity
  • Translating or helping bridge language accessibility where useful
  • Flagging spam, scams, or off-topic content to moderators
  • Helping shape what future regional programming could look like
Local Leads are not expected to:
  • Manage Architects or meetup organizers in their region
  • Coordinate regional programs or initiatives
  • Submit reports or operational updates about their local community meetups, architects, and/or speakers
  • Serve as a formal liaison between Arc and regional contributors
  • Be accountable for regional performance, growth, or community operations
Becoming a Local Lead does not require taking on additional responsibilities. Rather, it is a way for the Arc team to recognize Architects who are already making a positive impact and help elevate their voice within their regional ecosystem.

Regional Lead Badge (2 Levels: City + Country)

Tier Access Required: Tier 4 (City lead), Tier 5 (Country lead)

In certain cities and countries, the Arc team may designate a Regional Lead that is a stand out community Architect facilitator. This Regional Lead may help connect Architects in their region with the Arc team and community opportunities.
This role is intended to support community coordination rather than creation. It may include opportunities to facilitate  monthly syncs, supporting regional Architects, reporting, and helping keep regional initiatives structured and aligned.
What Makes a Strong Regional Lead
  • Strong connections in their region to their tech community (founders, developers, etc.)
  • Strong connections to universities, incubators, startup hubs / tech hubs, blockchain labs in their region
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Reliability and willingness to coordinate teams
  • Helpful and respectful approach to community interactions
  • Ability to handle light community moderation
Program Support
Eligible Architects (Tier 5 Regional Country Lead) may request reimbursement for pre-approved expenses incurred when traveling to the Architect Builder Summit (coming soon). Reimbursement is not compensation for services.

Architects are independent Arc community participants and are not employees or agents of Circle Technology Services, LLC ("CTS"), any of its affiliates or the Circle Arc team (collectively, "Circle"). Participation in the Architects program does not create any employment, agency, partnership, joint venture, fiduciary, or other formal relationship with Circle. Architects may not make statements on behalf of Circle, unless expressly authorized in writing to do so. Architects may not bind Circle in any respect. Certain roles or opportunities are subject to additional terms and prior approval.
