Arc x Wirex: card settlement infrastructure on Arc

Wirex is bringing card settlement infrastructure to Arc.

That is the headline, but the useful part is more specific: WirexOne is planned to use Arc as a settlement chain for in-scope non-U.S. card flows in USDC and EURC, moving as seamlessly as traditional finance.
This is a payments-volume story, not a static integration story.

Why this matters

A lot of onchain finance starts by chasing deposits. That has its place, but payments infrastructure is judged differently. The question is whether real transaction activity can move through the system again and again: spend, settle, reconcile, repeat.
Wirex sits close to that edge.
Wirex is a stablecoin payments platform with cards, wallets, business accounts, BaaS APIs, and stablecoin settlement infrastructure. They support USDC and EURC settlement, card/payment flows, API-first infrastructure, and principal memberships for card issuance.
Bringing that kind of settlement path onto Arc helps prove a different part of the network.
Not just: can protocols deploy here?
Can real payment flows settle here?

What Wirex brings to Arc

Wirex gives Arc exposure to card-linked stablecoin activity.
The planned Arc integration centers on USDC and EURC settlement for in-scope WirexOne card flows, with Arc sitting underneath the movement of value rather than appearing as a standalone crypto feature.
That distinction matters. A user may not care what chain is used under the hood. They care that they can spend, move funds, and manage balances without the product feeling like a chain-selection exercise.
For Arc, the value is that settlement can become part of a consumer and BaaS payment stack where stablecoins are used for actual money movement, moving as seamlessly as traditional finance.

What builders can take from it

Wirex is a useful reference point for teams building around payments on Arc.
A card product needs settlement, custody, account abstraction, reconciliation, compliance, and user-facing balance logic to work together. A neobank app needs the same pieces, plus funding, FX, earn, and support flows. A treasury or payout product needs reliable settlement and clean operational state. A consumer app needs most of the complexity hidden.
Arc’s role is to provide the stablecoin-native settlement environment underneath those product flows.
For builders, the takeaway is simple: if the product is payments, settlement is not a back-office detail. It is the product architecture.
The app needs to know:
  • Which balances settle on Arc
  • Which assets are supported
  • How card activity maps to stablecoin movement
  • How users see pending and settled state
  • How treasury and reconciliation flows work
  • Where gas abstraction, custody, account abstraction, and compliance tooling sit in the stack
Those are not launch checklist items. They decide whether the product can handle real payment behavior.

Where this fits in the Arc ecosystem

Wirex sits at the settlement edge of the Arc stack.
Liquidity venues, lending markets, wallets, developer tools, compliance vendors, and FX infrastructure all matter. Wirex uses that kind of ecosystem infrastructure for a more direct outcome: stablecoin card and payment flows that settle through Arc.
That makes the partnership complementary to the rest of the ecosystem. DEX and liquidity partners help markets form. Wallet partners help users access the network. Compliance and custody partners help production systems operate. Wirex brings a card settlement path that can generate recurring payment activity.
That is a different proof point than parked liquidity.

Rollout note

This is a pre-launch spotlight. Product surfaces may roll out in phases, and availability will depend on final launch details, supported regions, partner readiness, and applicable product requirements.
The core direction is clear: Wirex is bringing card settlement infrastructure to Arc, with USDC and EURC planned as key settlement assets for in-scope non-U.S. card flows.
